Greg Phillips

A Virginia native and lifelong resident of the Roanoke Valley, Greg brings over 20 years of courtroom and litigation experience to The Stanley Law Group.

After graduating from Samford University in 1988, Greg was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1991 from the Cumberland School of Law, and became a licensed attorney in the Commonwealth of Virginia that same year. He served as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney for the City of Roanoke from 1991-1997, and then entered private practice as a trial lawyer with his father, noted trial attorney Charlie Phillips, in the firm of Phillips and Phillips from 1997 to 2018.

Greg focuses his trial practice in criminal defense matters, representing his clients in both state and federal courtrooms throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. He also handles trial matters in the areas of Domestic Relations and Civil Litigation. Greg has a proven record of successful verdicts for his clients in courtrooms all over Virginia.

Greg is very active in his children’s lives, coaching travel basketball and in recreational sports. Greg is a member of Elevation Church.
